Forest Gardening

August 26th – 27th 2023

Time: 10am – 5pm

Cost: €120 to €200

Faciltator: Siobhán Lavelle

Forest gardening is a gardening practice which mimics forest eco-systems in order to grow more food in less space with less work. Forest gardens are more beautiful than conventional vegetable patches, store more carbon and provide more niches for biodiversity.

This is a practical workshop in which participants will have the opportunity to learn from and further develop our on-site forest garden. This workshop includes theory, design, group work and planting. It is suitable for beginners and more experienced gardeners and the techniques you will learn can be applied to any sized garden.
